New Hanza
Our automated facade blinds and awnings are designed to control the indoor climate, enhance the building's energy efficiency, and complement the building's design.
The new Riga urban project "New Hanza" is unique in that it was built from prefabricated blocks that already had windows and aluminium louvres integrated into the facade. To ensure optimal energy efficiency and save energy spent on cooling the building, we installed automated WAREMA facade blinds and awnings that coordinate solar shading and ventilation systems so that the indoor climate is always ideal.
WAREMA's climatronic weather station transmits the current weather data to the control panel, where it is processed and the height of the awning is automatically adjusted depending on the intensity of the sun, rain or wind.
What makes the building particularly special are the materials used and the high quality technological solutions in the field of energy efficiency, so the automated facade blinds not only protect from direct sunlight, but also maintain the energy efficiency of the building and fit perfectly into the design of the building.
